A sloth, a vacuum and control over time. A single-player 3D action-adventure platformer: Noah, an alien sloth working as a galactic janitor, jumps, glides and bends time to drive the stinky Odorax out of Bubbleon, a planet made of bubbles.
At the 7000th Intergalactic Games on Metacron, the Sentimatrix 7000, a machine powered by the crowd’s euphoria, gets more emotion than it can handle and collapses. The dimensional rifts it tears open connect planets that should never touch. One of them links Bubbleon, the planet of cleanliness, to Odoria, a toxic rock, and the Odorax come through it carrying their pollution kits.
Noah’s boss, Vex, has nobody else available. Noah is a Slotharian, an alien sloth species, except he was born hyperactive, scatterbrained and blue. His gear gives him teleportation and control over time: he can freeze, speed up or rewind objects. With that, a vacuum cleaner and a handful of traps, he has to clean up the planet without making a mess.
It is a stress-free platformer in the spirit of classics like Ratchet & Clank: exploration, puzzles, secrets and absurd humour. No competition, no filler missions.
Bubbleon is the first of five planets, each with its own identity. The first episode is the one you can play in the demo.
Who is who in the first episode.
A Slotharian, the alien sloth species from Slotharia. Slotharians are born brown and calm; Noah came out hyperactive, chaotic and blue. He works for Vex in exchange for galactones and the right to keep napping on his ship.
Bossy, stingy and impatient. He hands Noah his missions and carries the thread of the mystery. As long as the job gets done, he does not care much about Noah.
The people of Bubbleon, the planet of cleanliness. See-through, chatty and completely unprepared for an invasion of things that stink.
They come from Odoria through the rift. Their bombers fill the town with gas, and a guardian watches over the heart of the pollution.
Host of the Intergalactic Games on Metacron. His show broke the euphoria record and, along the way, broke the galaxy.
The demo is the first episode, Bubbleon.
48 Bubbleons stroll around town and each has something to tell you. Some will even hand you a trophy.
Smash crates for galactones, the currency Vex pays in, and hunt for hidden trophies.
We are a small studio in the Canary Islands, based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Noah & The Cosmic Cleanup is our first game on Steam, and we are making it in Unreal Engine 5. We wanted a non-competitive game that is fun to play, with the soul of classic platformers: the kind where hours fly by with no stress and no filler missions.
Real captures from the demo, no HUD. 4K originals on request.
